Russell Henley

Russell Henley is an American professional golfer who turned pro in 2011 after a successful college career. He played at the University of Georgia, where he was a three-time All-American. Henley won the 2010 Haskins Award as the nation’s top collegiate golfer. He also tied for low amateur at the 2010 U.S. Open.
Henley started his professional career on the Korn Ferry Tour and won his second event as a pro. In 2013, he won his PGA Tour debut at the Sony Open in Hawaii. That win made him the first rookie in 12 years to win his debut. Known for his putting and composure, Henley became a consistent Tour presence.

Henley finished at 11-under-par, winning by one stroke over Morikawa.
This victory marked Henley’s fifth PGA Tour title and his first since the 2022 World Wide Technology Championship. The win earned him a $4 million prize and elevated him into the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking.
