Description of The Quarry Golf Course
The Quarry is an 18-hole private championship layout playing par 72 across approximately 800 acres. It was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry in 2007.
Sea Dwarf Paspalum grass covers fairways and greens, ensuring consistent playability. The slate tees measure 7,316 yards with a USGA rating of 74.3 and slope of 137. Other tee sets range from 6,863 to 5,091 yards with slopes from 133 to 110.
Water comes into play on nearly every hole, with lakes and native preserves framing fairways. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout though exact count isn’t publicly listed. The course condition is pristine, with firm surfaces and well-maintained Sea Paspalum grass. Typical par is 72 with five tee options catering to varied skill levels. Signature holes feature dramatic water carries and elevation at hole 5 above Stone Lake.
The Quarry Golf Club Greens Fees and Membership Costs
As of mid-2025, the golf initiation fee is around $110,000 for equity membership. Annual golf dues total approximately $15,100 for golf access. Social membership initiation adds about $1,200 upfront, with annual social dues around $1,320. No waitlist currently exists for new golf memberships. Membership benefits include unlimited green and cart usage as part of fees.
No published daily green or cart rates exist since the club is private equity only. The course does not offer pay-as-you-play public tee times. Non-members cannot access tee sheets or pay daily fees to play. Cart rental and range access are included in golf membership only. Guests must be sponsored by active members to play rounds.
Golfing Staff and Members
Notable figures like Fred Couples and Bernhard Langer have both won PGA Champions Tour events hosted at The Quarry. Local Naples-born PGA Tour pro George McNeill is also associated with the area. The club employs experienced staff including Pat Doyle as Head Golf Professional. Chris Senior leads golf course maintenance as Superintendent. Annie Garcia oversees golf instruction for members.
The Quarry hosted the ACE Group Classic in 2010 and 2011. Fred Couples won in 2010, and Bernhard Langer captured the trophy in 2011. Pat Doyle joined the club’s team in 2007 and has significant Naples experience. The maintenance team ensures pristine playing surfaces year-round. The pro staff offers club repair, fitting, and member lessons.
