Description of Naples Heritage Golf Course
Naples Heritage Golf Course is a private, 18-hole parkland course designed by Gordon G. Lewis, opened in 1997. Fairways and greens are Bermuda grass, providing durable, year-round play. The championship layout spans 6,489 yards from the longest tees with a par of 72. The course rating is 71.9 with a slope of 141, reflecting its challenge. Numerous water hazards and well-placed bunkers strategically test each golfer’s skill.
The scorecard reveals dogleg fairways and undulating greens that reward precision and strategy. There are multiple water-guarded holes and raised bunkers protecting landing zones. Signature hole #2 is a narrow, long par-4 with bunkers right and out-of-bounds left. Greens and fairways remain in excellent condition year-round under meticulous maintenance. The routing blends mature trees, preserves, and scenic water features throughout.
Naples Heritage Greens Fees and Membership Costs
Members pay cart fees but no separate green fees for rounds of golf. Rates generally fall between $20 and $30 per round for members. Walkers are allowed after 4 pm daily without extra charges. Member carts aren’t permitted—club provides all carts, maintaining pace and quality. The bundled membership structure simplifies access to golf amenities.
Membership comes included with property ownership in the bundled community. Annual operating assessments total $7,940, paid in two installments. Capital reserve assessments add $2,000 annually, also split January and July. Owners must also meet a $500 annual food-and-beverage minimum. New residents pay a one-time capital contribution of $15,000 at resale transfer.
Naples Heritage Golfing Staff and Members
Tim Richards serves as General Manager, overseeing all operations. Chris Ryan is both Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional. Chad Montgomery manages golf course conditions as Superintendent. Brian Certo directs grounds maintenance, while Corey Lenahan assists in upkeep. Their combined efforts ensure exceptional daily course quality.
The course was originally designed by Gordon Lewis and renovated in 2015 with Tiff-Eagle greens. It spans 6,603 yards with ten tee options for wide golfer appeal. It lies within a low-density community enveloped by expansive preserves and water features. A unique driving range allows practice shots into a lake for added challenge. Hole #2 remains a signature par-4 with a tight dogleg fairway guarded by bunkers and out-of-bounds.
