Vineyards Country Club
Vineyards Country Club in Naples is a private, non-equity club founded in 1988 with two championship golf courses. Members enjoy a large, award-winning 70,000 sq ft clubhouse offering resort-style dining and social spaces, including casual and formal venues. The club’s amenities include a 24-station driving range, pro shop, and weekly men’s and women’s golf leagues. The wellness center and spa span about 15,000 sq ft, featuring a salt-water lap pool, whirlpools, saunas, and full spa services. Racquet enthusiasts access 12 Har-Tru tennis courts, several pickleball courts, plus bocce and a fitness studio.
The Vineyards community surrounds the Country Club within a secure, gated neighborhood of diverse homes: villas, condos, coach homes, and estate properties. Description of Vineyards Golf Courses
The North Course is an 18-hole links-style layout designed by Mark McCumber. It plays to a par of 72 from championship tees. From the longest tees, it stretches approximately 6,931 yards. It is rated around 72.7 with a slope of 131. Greens are Tif Eagle and fairways use Celebration Bermuda grass.
The South Course was designed by Bill Amick and later redesigned by Kipp Schulties. It also plays to a par of 72 through its 18 holes. Exact yardage, rating, and slope vary by tee; championship yardage reaches 7,222 yards. Course conditions feature well-groomed Tif Eagle greens and Celebration Bermuda fairways year-round. Signature holes include water-flanked and bunker-guarded test holes (though specific holes not publicly detailed).
Vineyards Golf Greens Fees and Membership Costs
Daily Green & Cart Fees
Guests pay $130 for 18 holes and $70 for nine holes during November–April. In May–October, guest fees drop to $60 for 18 holes and $35 for nine. Sports and Lifestyle members pay around $110 for 18 holes and $60 for nine during November–April, and $60 and $35 respectively in summer. Full Golf members pay no green fees or court fees but are responsible for cart fees. Standard golf cart fees are approximately $30 per person for a round.
Membership Costs
Full Golf membership carries a one-time initiation of about $150,000 and annual dues around $15,950. Lifestyle membership initiation is approximately $48,000 with yearly dues around $7,495. Vineyards Golfing Staff and Members
The golf team features Tom Metzger, a PGA Hall of Famer, as Director of Golf. James P. Leland serves as Head Golf Professional, supported by Bil Bergsma and Kelly R. Millender as assistant pros. Sean O’Donnell was recently named Lead Assistant Golf Professional. The club hosted the South Florida PGA Junior Tour Medalist event Memorial Day weekend. Its North Course reopened in December 2024 after a renovation by Kipp Schulties.
The Procacci family, including Michael and Joseph Procacci, founded the Vineyards development and club. Vineyards earned the “Best Golf Course to do Business” distinction in 2024. The community spans approximately 1,400 acres built around two championship courses. The club hosts over 800 member events annually, enhancing social engagement. It also earned runner-up in Golf Inc. Magazine’s 2025 “Renovation of the Year.”
