Saltleaf Golf Preserve
Saltleaf Golf Preserve features a challenging 18-hole championship course designed by Raymond Floyd. It also offers a nine-hole par-3 short course called “The Leaf.” The practice facility includes driving range, putting greens, and warm-up areas. The clubhouse hosts a golf shop and Saltleaf Bar & Grill. It’s managed by Troon Golf and connected to surrounding natural preserves.
This golf preserve lies within the Saltleaf on Estero Bay master-planned community. The community includes waterfront residences, marina, nature trails, and a 144-acre uplands preserve. Amenities for residents include bocce courts, multiple pools, a spa, dog park, and outdoor lounge areas. It’s just minutes from white-sand Gulf beaches and Southwest Florida International Airport. The Preserve – Championship
The Preserve is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course stretching 7,075 yards. Designed by four-time major champion Raymond Floyd. Fairways and greens use Bermuda grass throughout. It plays to a slope of 126 and rating of 72.8. There are naturally exposed sandy waste areas instead of formal bunkers, numerous water holes, and a signature drivable par-4 second hole.
The Leaf – Short Course
The Leaf is a 9-hole, par-27 walking-only short course of about 1,010 yards. Greens identical to The Preserve, impeccably maintained. Hole lengths range from 60 to 150 yards depending on tee selection. It features small sand bunkers, water elements, and one or more visually distinct signature holes. It’s perfect for fun, skill-building, or quick play in native Florida beauty.

The Preserve opened after a 17-month renovation by Raymond Floyd and Harry Bowers. It was named one of GolfPass’s “12 Best Brand-New Courses in 2024.” The layout features no formal bunkers, only natural sandy waste areas. Guests often spot bald eagles, herons, and other wildlife amidst the uplands preserve. The Leaf nine-hole short course offers walking-only, fun play for all skill levels.
