Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club Golf Course
Boca Raton Golf & Racquet Club is an 18-hole public championship layout designed by Charles Ankrom, opened in 1982. The course uses Tifdwarf on greens and Bermuda on fairways and rough. Conditions are well maintained with smooth greens and lush fairways in South Florida climate. From the back (black) tees it plays 6,714 yards, with rating 73.2 and slope 148. Par is 72 across 18 holes, featuring many bunkers, water hazards, and a striking island-green 18th signature hole.
The course challenges with 3,364 yards front nine and 3,350 back nine from the tips. Its rating and slope reflect a tough test for low handicaps. The number of bunkers and water holes is not publicly enumerated, but water frames several holes, especially the 18th. The signature 18th island-green is rimmed by water and demands precision on approach. Another memorable hole is #16, a winding par-5 flanked by water and penalty areas.
