About Admirals Cove Golf Courses

East Course (18 holes)

The East Course is a private, parkland-style 18-hole layout designed by Robert von Hagge in 1987. Bermuda fairways and bent-grass greens are meticulously maintained to elite standards. From the championship tees it measures approximately 6,827 yards with par 70, rating 73.6, slope 144. The layout features numerous bunkers and water-lined holes demanding precision and strategic shot-making. Signature holes include scenic par-5s and tight par-3s bordered by water hazards and beautiful landscaping.

Golf Village (27 holes)

The Golf Village comprises three distinct 9-hole courses originally by Robert von Hagge and redesigned by Kipp Schulties in 2015. These layouts emulate traditional North Carolina-style golf with rolling fairways, bold bunkering, and dramatic elevation changes. The redesign added 130,000 cubic yards of contouring, enhancing drainage, playability, and visual interest. Course conditions remain top-tier, supported by precision irrigation systems to ensure consistent turf quality. Signature features include bold bunkers, natural cap-rock walls, elevated tees, and waterfall accents enhancing strategic depth.
